Wisteria (Wisteria floribunda ‘Longissima’)  in full bloom collapsed during a storm at the home of Carol Tessier in Asnieres, France just outside of Paris. Although dramatic in a jumbled heap, the photo after it was pruned and re-attached to it’s arbor  shows how elegantly beautiful this vine is when handled appropriately.

Major garden vines:  Wisteria and Laburnum are blooming now at Ness Botanic Garden, a part of Liverpool University.
