I design & build gardens and this blog is about all things landscape and garden that can influence garden making. My bias is toward the clean, straight forward, and spare but I can be seduced as much as anyone by the sensuality of nature. However, what I post will be about more than the pretty, precious, and nostalgic. We'll see how well I do. And "Carex"? It's a sedge frequently used in planting native gardens. I like it very much.
Walking in The Kröller-Müller Museum
I come here as often as I can. Truly unique place, in every season. World biggest collection of van Gogh’s art, finest art gallery (19-20 century, mostly) and - amazing sculpture garden. I couldn’t ask for more, really… May be for a bike, to cycle the premises. Bikes are here, too, available to all visitors.
Beautiful place, full of unexpected.
