I design & build gardens and this blog is about all things landscape and garden that can influence garden making. My bias is toward the clean, straight forward, and spare but I can be seduced as much as anyone by the sensuality of nature. However, what I post will be about more than the pretty, precious, and nostalgic. We'll see how well I do. And "Carex"? It's a sedge frequently used in planting native gardens. I like it very much.
Corten steel waterfall in a Quaker Smith Point, Vermont (U.S.) private garden. Designed by Vermont firm, H. Keith Wagner Partnership. Check out that bridge stone. Pretty amazingly big.
