Haight Ashbury is one thing, but what are the flowers in California on, anyway?
Actually, this is Ferraria crispa, a South African member of the iris family. Apparently it’s known as “Black Flag” in Australia, lending even more oomph to its already intense cool factor. This one in particular comes from the west coast garden of the folks at Far Out Flora.
